Honest materials
Single-origin wool, mulberry silk, cotton and jute — dyed with plants and minerals, never synthetic brighteners.
From a single village loom in 1998 to a community of 120 artisan households today. We craft rugs slowly with honest organic fibres and botanical dyes, creating enduring pieces designed to be cherished for generations.

In 1998 our founder set up one wooden loom in a courtyard and took orders from neighbours who wanted rugs that would outlast trends. Word spread slowly, the way good work does.
Today the same idea guides every piece we make: buy directly from weaving families, use colour drawn from plants and minerals, and refuse to rush a rug that is meant to last a lifetime.
A rug is not furniture. It is a small, warm inheritance you walk across every morning.
Almost three decades of slow, deliberate growth — one honest rug at a time.
A single loom, one weaver and a promise to make rugs that last.
We moved to madder, saffron and indigo dyes, saying no to harsh chemicals.
A space where customers could walk across the rugs before buying them.
A fixed share of every sale now goes straight to the family that wove it.
Free three-day in-room trials expanded to more than forty cities.
Our finest silk collection yet, knotted at twelve hundred knots per square inch.
Three simple rules have guided the workshop since the very first rug left the loom.
Single-origin wool, mulberry silk, cotton and jute — dyed with plants and minerals, never synthetic brighteners.
Weavers are named on every rug and paid a fixed share the moment the piece is finished, not weeks later.
Every rug is inspected edge to fringe and repaired free for life, so it stays in your home, not in a landfill.
Weaver-trained advisors, dyers and designers who answer your questions with first-hand knowledge.

Has spent twenty-six years at the loom and still signs off on every new collection.

Draws each pattern by hand before a single knot is tied, blending old motifs with modern rooms.

Keeps the madder, saffron and indigo vats alive, matching colours the way her mother did.
Handmade rugs should leave the world a little better than they found it. These four commitments sit in every contract we sign with a weaving family.
A few honours we are proud to share with the weaving families who earned them.
Walk across the rugs, compare colours in daylight and talk to a weaver-trained advisor. If the ready sizes don't fit, we'll weave to your exact measurements.
